WELCOME TO EURODOGSHOW 2010
Dear visitors,
This year vzw Vlaanderens Rashonden Festival organizes her 47th. International Dog Show.
The celebration of the 47th. Edition is an unique happening, this could only be possible with the support over the years from you as visitor, competitor, trade-stand holder or sponsor. It could only be possible with our magnificent co-operators, therefore many thanks to all of them. From this year on our team of Kortrijk Xpo will again gives helping hand with the organization, this makes us even stronger. On all of them many thanks.
Dear visitor, we are convinced that your love for the dog in all its aspects is the reason for your annual visit to our show. This year we will be proud to see an increase in competitors. This would make us the biggest show of the country.
Underneath we will give you view of the different classes that can be entered. Also we will give you view how you can get ‘Best in Show’ at our show. More extensive information you can find on our site www.eurodogshow.be
69 judges from 22 countries will give their judgement over all breeds in the breeds ring but also in the different additional manifestation where our show is known for.
The exhibition is held under the rules of the F.C.I. (Féderation Cynologique International).
The different classes for the breed judging:
- Minor Puppy (Baby)-class : from 0 till 6 months - Puppy - class: from 6 till 9 months - Youth - class: from 9 tot 18 months - Intermediate - class: from 15 tot 24 months - Open - class: older than 15 months - Working - class : older than 15 months having obtained a recognized working certificate - Champion - class : older than 15 months whom have obtained the title of National or International Champion. - Veteran- class : older than 8 years
The best dog of each breed and sex achieves the C.A.C. (Certificat d’Aptitude au Championnat) and C.A.C.I.B. (Certificat d’Aptitude au Championnat International de Beauté).
Beside the individual judging the Judges will also judge the non-individuals for instance:
- Brace-class : For 2 dogs of the same breed but of a different gender, which are also participating in the individual judgements - Groups (team)-class : For at least 3 dogs of the same breed, of the same breeder, without distinction between the gender, which also participate in the individual judgements.
After the Judge has judged the different classes in the individual breeds, he chooses the Best dog and Best bitch. The winner of these two will be ‘Best of Breed’, then in the evening in Hall 6 in the Main Ring they compete for Best of Group, on Sunday they will compete for the title of ‘Best in Show’ at Eurodogshow 2010’
